At Cockburns we are purveyors of high quality meat and deli products. We have a passion for premium produce, supplied by a select few high-quality independent producers our ethos is the more local the better. Yet we also know that to satisfy the desires of our customers we need to search further afield for those extra-special products that make Cockburn’s so unique. So if you want something different please give us a call.

Provenance is so important to us, we take pride in knowing not only where it has come from but also who has produced it. We know that there are very good, caring, like-minded farmers in North Yorkshire, working with nature, raising animals to the standards that we admire sustainability being paramount to these farmers and that is why we choose to use them. Home fed grass fed & and free range is what we look for in our products only the very best is good enough.

We use produce from small farms rearing free-range native breeds their natural diets and slow growth producing excellent marbling, thus allowing an amazing depth of flavour. We pride ourselves on having the best beef we possibly can, intensifying its natural flavour, by using a dry ageing process.

Our sausages and BBQ products are legendary people travel from far and wide to come and collect our award winning bangers for their BBQ’s. We have so many unique flavours to choose from the favourite being Honey & Mustard made with ingredients from our local suppliers. All our sausages are made with produce bought locally no fake flavouring here!

We have our own bake-house where all our pies and pastries are freshly made daily. Our bake-house staff prepare all our pies and pastries from hand using an age-old process for the best pastry you have ever tasted.
